Abstract

Eye banks have been processing corneal tissue for endothelial keratoplasty (EK) since 2005.1 Preparation of DSAEK grafts by eye banks has been shown to create efficiencies for surgeons without impacting visual outcomes for patients.2 Iowa Lions Eye Bank (ILEB) began supplying pre-cut tissue for EK in early 2006.
