The International Journal of Eye Banking’s mission is to provide research, clinical information and best practices to the worldwide community of eye bankers and physicians. The Journal is a peer- reviewed publication dedicated to eye banking and corneal transplantation providing free access to both readers and authors. The Journal reaches a readership of thousands on six continents with timely review of submissions and publication of currently relevant material.
Founded in 2011 by the Minnesota Lions Eye Bank with funding from the Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation, the Journal was transferred to The Eye Bank Association of America in 2015. Our Editor in Chief, Ellen Heck MT(ASCP), MA, CEBT, and editorial board of prominent eye bank professionals and physicians oversee the publication’s content.
The International Journal of Eye Banking and the Eye Bank Association of America are committed to improving and sustaining a quality journal which fulfills its mission and proves valuable to its subscribers and contributors.
